The goal of the partnership is to make the technology of the future accessible, comprehensible, and available for everyone who is interested in being part of building future decentralized finance applications.
What exactly is DeFi?
DeFi is a collective term for financial products and services that are accessible to anyone with an internet connection. With DeFi, the markets are always open and there are no centralized authorities who can block payments or deny you access to anything. Services that were previously slow and at risk of human error are automatic and safer now that they’re handled by code that anyone can inspect and scrutinize.

The lectures are designed for those who have basic knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithms, and people of interest in all blockchain technology.
A large part of the material will be suitable for people who do not understand programming. We want to highlight that they will not be able to participate in the practical part at the moment. But after the course, they will be much more than prepared!
The course starts on 19.05.2022. The lectures will be online, streamed on YouТube. The duration of the course will be 4 weeks. Each week there will be 1 lecture for 1 hour with an additional 20 minutes of question time.

The Lecturers
The main lecturer will be the inspiring Christo Peev, who is a Software developer and business executive with substantial entrepreneurial experience, BSc in Computer Science and MSc in Innovations and Technology Management. Since 2013, he has spent most of his time working on business and product development in the areas of FinTech, Blockchain, Data Processing and Visualization, and Web and Mobile Applications.
As a CEO of Motion Software, he leads a group of world-class software developers. Moreover, he has been selected by Forbes Bulgaria as one of 30 entrepreneurs under 30 years old who changes the world in 2019.
“For the past few years, I’ve been very keen on the topic about blockchain and the future of decentralized finance (DeFi) and how to make the services in the sector more secure by avoiding the human factor.
The flexible nature of DeFi means it’s essentially permissionless and can more easily accommodate third-party integrations. It solves key issues in conventional finance such as lack of inclusion, inefficiency, opacity, centralized control and lack of interoperability“ says Christo.
Furthermore, we will be honored to have Krasimir Raykov as a guest lecturer, who is the CTO & Co-founder of WeiChain. He is focused mainly on project delivery and solution architecture. He has 6 + years of experience in complex systems development, back-end development, and a strong understanding of statically typed languages like Java, C++, and Solidity. In his free time, he is a Technical Coach, preparing and leading courses for Smart Contract Development with Solidity. He has trained over 100 students (on-site and online) in developing Decentralized Applications (dApps) using the latest technologies in Solidity and JavaScript.
