Striking while the iron is hot, inspired by the vibrant blockchain ecosystem
There is a bundle of excitement in the blockchain and crypto industry, and it’s well-founded. These technologies are making the world better, easier, and more secure. But what about countries that are new to this industry?
The Bulgarian blockchain ecosystem is still in its early stages but growing at a rate of knots. With a large number of blockchain and crypto startups, the country is briskly becoming a hot spot for blockchain activity. The government is actively working to create a friendly environment for the industry. Moreover, it has created a special tax regime for blockchain companies. Certainly, this is helping to attract more businesses to the country.
Successfully building a community is when we integrate people from outside, which brings value to us. Once they learn about what decentralization is, we can learn what kind of perspective they have and what kind of use cases they see. For example, to what level we can bring transparency or what immutability is.
Starting with the internet, this is a natural process that enables communications on a global scale. The internet came without certain levels of security and accountability, and that’s where blockchain comes in. During the last 20 years, we have grown as a globalized society and a globalized economy. Bringing new features to the internet that we can trust, organize, and rely on in financial markets and political decision-making. We think it will change not only the world but will also change philosophies and put them into perspective. It’s a slow process, but we think it’s creating value constantly.
This vibrant blockchain ecosystem encouraged us, Quanterall, to do more. Taking part in building a young and prospering community is an opportunity that can’t be missed. When some innovation is blossoming, being among the first ones connected is astounding, but being the moving power is beyond comparison.
This is the reason we’ve organized BlackSeaChain 2022. A conference that connected the leading blockchain companies in Bulgaria into one ecosystem that lives and breathes to BUIDL!
The two-day educational event was filled with thought-leadership panels and discussions with outstanding content. More than 300 participants were exploring decentralized economy and finance solutions, diving into new blockchain trends and use cases, focusing on building transforming technologies, and exchanging best practices and ideas. Moreover, the event created great opportunities for innovative business solutions and successful partnerships.
43 lectors from more than 10 countries took part in the conference!
They opened the doors to the audience to dive into 26 inspirational keynote speeches and 4 extremely interesting panels, diverging into two tracks — business and tech.

Furthermore, all the attendees enjoyed the presence of 4 dedicated dev workshops, 9 exhibitors with cool swag, 5 top-notch blockchain demos, and 4 mind-blowing NFT projects.
By all means, the educational and networking event wouldn’t be complete without an afterparty!
We wanted to go beyond completion. That’s why we organized two parties with incredible good vibes and networking opportunities. The first day ended with a VIP Cocktail Party for speakers and sponsors, and the second with an astounding afterparty on the beach for all the attendees!
In 2023, we expect to at least double the number of attendees and, apart from our professional Bulgarian speakers, bring more international speakers.
We have two goals: the first is to promote the blockchain so that businesses in Bulgaria pay more attention to us, and the second is to get more and more young people to come to the blockchain domain.
Speaking about the technologies of the future, we got the opportunity to present to all BlackSeaChain attendees our product — AVERATO. A software system designed to create IoT infrastructures for remote control of various devices integrated access to different payment channels.
AVERATO has developed an IoT device that enables any vending machine to accept cashless & contactless payments.
In addition, we have created a client dashboard that permits vending operators to track and automatize payments and processes.

Smart Cafeteria
Demonstrates automated weighing of products with a built-in electronic scale, calculation of the final amount, and its payment through an AVERATO POS terminal. The amount varies according to the quantity and price of the product. Payment can be made with fiat currency or AVAX. The system is built on the Rust programming language and the Raspberry Pi.
NFT Voucher
Presents an innovative use of an NFT as a voucher on the Cardano blockchain that an employer gives to its workers to pay for a purchase.
Coffee Supplier Notification
It shows how a business process can be modeled and managed. Moreover, it monitors coffee machine usage from the demo area. The machine needs to be refilled after N number of uses, which notifies the coffee supplier.
MyShop
It is a proof of concept (POC) of a system for decentralized e-shops. Furthermore, it offers the main features of web stores that have been tailored to the specifics of decentralized technologies, as well as high levels of privacy and security that only Blockchain can provide.
Kinetik
Demonstrates how loading a “Kinetik Automotive” E-GO card can be done easily and quickly with contactless payment through the “AVERATO” system. In this case, a QR code with a fixed amount will be used, and the payment can be in fiat money or AVAX.
