Blockchains are incredibly popular nowadays but how do they work? What problems do they solve and how can they be implemented?
The technology is widely used in FinTech and various industries but rarely taught at universities. This leaves the young business and finance students with no choice but to self-educate.
Online, one can find tons of information — YouTube dev talks, paid Blockchain courses, recordings of lectures and meetups, all kinds of crypto gurus pouring their knowledge into their audience’s heads… but who can you actually talk with about the REAL business applications and the core concept?
Well… with us!
Together with Club House, based in Sofia Tech Park, we created the Blockchain club.
The aim of the club is to gather academics, university, and high-school students with business, financial, economic majors and to research, identify and discuss together various real-world blockchain use cases.
We will start with the basic models of blockchain technology, we will introduce the concept of distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, etc. while leaving the technicalities out. We will focus on the conceptual economic and financial models implemented into blockchain technology.

The Blockchain Club meetings will be held every last Wednesday of the month from 17:00 to 18:00h in the Club House, at Sofia Tech Park.
The meetings are with open access — no entrance fee, no need for previous knowledge, no technical background required.

Club House is an autonomous part of Coworking Space — the coworking spot at Sofia Tech Park.
This comfy and highly equipped hall serves multifunctional purposes — formal and informal events that promote ingenuity, entrepreneurship, and productivity.
